The GREASE project developed a set of socio-political indicators for assessing how religious diversity is governed in different parts of the world. These Indicators (metrics) can be applied using the GREASE Toolkit. We have used the Toolkit to produce 24 Country Assessments. Comparative Insights are presented in the form of a White Paper. An interactive Visualization of the assessment results is also available on this website.

The GREASE indicators relate to four key vectors:

1. State-religious institutions relationship (levels of freedom from state)
2. Status and rights of religious minority groups (levels of freedom from state)
3. (Violent) religious radicalisation factors and levels 
4. Efforts to address such radicalisation
